We are looking for a Data Engineer to help design and build reliable data foundations across the Bank Group. In this role, you will develop data models and transformation layers, contribute to the evolution of our data warehouse, and work closely with analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality data for analytics and reporting.

What you'll do

• Design and develop data models and data transformation layers across various business domains, including financial crime prevention, customer analytics, and other analytical areas

• Build and maintain ELT transformation logic and data warehouse structures that serve BI and analytical use cases

• Ensure that developed solutions align with business requirements and the overall Data Warehouse (DWH) architecture

• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver trusted and efficient data solutions

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for data models and transformation logic

• Contribute to strategic projects focused on the development and enhancement of the Bank Group’s analytical platforms and data capabilities

What we expect

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer or in a similar role

• Strong SQL skills and solid Python

• Experience designing data models and developing data transformation and ELT processes

• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions with attention to detail

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience working with modern data warehousing and analytics environments
